Woodland Charmer

What to expect

Nestled in the midst of a wooded, nearly two-acre lot, this beautiful farmhouse style home radiates charm.  Built in 1998 by Lou Orser for the owners’ growing family, the home is spacious, warm and inviting.

As you approach the large front porch, don’t miss the rooster weather vane perched on the garage’s cupola. Dentil crown moulding adds to the second story windows.

In the foyer, an imposing staircase with interesting decorative trim greets you. To the right, a cozy living room, decorated in soft tones and brightly lit from the large windows, is a perfect spot to curl up with a book in front of the fireplace. Note the beautiful art pieces from Charles Pachter and Dave Beckett as well as the large, antique oak “flame” table.

Upstairs are four lovely bedrooms; one used as a fitness room and another as the owner’s office. The comfortable primary bedroom boasts a California King bed and a modern ensuite with a large shower and soaker tub.

Downstairs on the opposite side of the foyer, move to the welcoming formal dining room with vintage furniture and interesting art pieces.

The rear area of the home shifts from formal to a more casual tone. The stunning farmhouse kitchen and the dining and family areas beckon you to gather, relax, and enjoy family and friends. There are antiques to note as well as shiplap and beadboard decorating the spaces.

Exit via the laundry room door to the large deck and view the professionally landscaped oasis of raised gardens, inviting pool area, and delightful children’s playhouse.
