Lakefront Legacy
What to expect
Lakefront living shaped and refined over time.
Having purchased this previously gutted and renovated home ten years ago, the owners of this lakefront retreat have continued the tradition with renovations of their own!
Enter a large living room creatively divided from the kitchen and dining room by a wall with a TV on one side and a fireplace on the other. A giant marble island with seating for four in the kitchen is mirrored by a 12-person harvest table in the dining room. Also on this floor are a mudroom/laundry with built-in drying racks, a primary bedroom with four-piece ensuite, a second bedroom, bathroom, powder room and playroom. The beautiful leaded windows throughout this home are original.
Upstairs, you will access the two children’s bedrooms, a bathroom, and an office that was built on top of the garage two years ago. Don’t miss the clever “hidden passage” between the boy’s and the girl’s bedrooms
Back down on the lower level, you will find a music/games room, and another office, reclaimed from the original mudroom. The family room was renovated by the owners to remove a bar and create a guest room and bathroom. The still-to-be-renovated utility room doubles as a gym.
Outside, the garden has a new composite deck with a rain system that keeps the deck beneath it dry. The owners renovated the garden, completing the waterfront and dock two years after moving in and the deck two years later.
Accessibility: six steps to enter, stairs to the basement to exit.
Parking: Parking is available on either side of the street.
